ABOUT
ME
Nancy Shanahan
Executive Producer
In 1986 I had a summer internship writing Public Service Announcements at CBS Chicago. I was in my final year of school and the repetition of news producing made me question if I made the right career choice – that is, until I was asked to join the Johnny-B TV special as a production assistant. I had to do the craziest things…duct tape torn costumes, get three different kinds of water for the director, take Mr. T out for pizza! It was nuts…and I loved every minute of it.
I graduated from Columbia College, Chicago in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Television Production and I never went back to news. Over the years I have held every position in production - from making copies, to writing scripts, to working with CEOs and celebrities.
Behind the scenes I found myself in places I never thought I’d be…
Outside, on top of the Sears Tower (never Willis)?
Been there
Logging script notes in a rowboat on the water?
Done that
Shooting at Debbie Allen’s house?

It’s been a wild ride! I’m honored and grateful to work alongside the best professionals in the industry and clients who put their trust in me.
